Is this show any good? somebody please let me know. I'm following too many shows, have to decide if I start following this one as well or not.

I can tell you that the original version (Les Revenants, or "The Returned") is some of the best television made. Haven't started the Americanized version yet, but looking forward to seeing how they interpret the story. Great story by the way, very creepy.

Just watched this version and it's not in the same league (not even in the same galaxy) as the original French version, which always begs the question 'why'? Why can't Americans accept good international TV shows and movies without having to remake them to suit a dumbed-down audience? That said, Resurrection doesn't suck. It has a mix of good acting moments, good directing/writing decisions, crappy acting moments and stupid direction/writing decisions. Above average TV fare. But if you want to experience this story the way it was properly meant to be experienced, start with Les Revenants (The Returned). Wouldn't you rather people see the original Willy Wonka before the remade Charlie & the Chocolate Factory version? Same concept applies here.

I understand that lots of you want to appear smart because you have seen Les Revenants, but if you even did a basic Google search you'll see that this show is based on a novel called The Returned by Jason Mott. I have read the novel (who's trying to appear smart now!) and it is pretty good, but I doubt it will translate well to the screen and I can tell already that some of the key elements have changed (see: Under the Dome). That being said, I'll check it out, so thanks to DibyaTPB for uploading.

Ignore that guy wildrover2, Mudget is just one of those egotistical foreigners who think their shit don't stink and for some reason that their movies don't either! Unfortunately the rest of the world doesn't agree with them and in most cases neither does their own country. That is why Hollywood stars are more popular than any foreign movie star in the world!
